Dear parents,

  For those who may not know me, I am Mrs. Allison Gaddy.  I am a graduate if Word of Life Bible College in Schroon Lake, New York.  I will be teaching Kindergarten-2^nd grade this coming year.  I taught at Ebenezer Academy for five years from 2004-2009.  I taught Kindergarten for two years and Elementary grades for three years.  I took a year off when my second child was born.  I am looking forward to teaching your child this year.

     Below, you will find the supply list for this year.   Kindergarten students will be taking a nap after lunch.  If your child does not usually nap, they will be required to lay on their mat quietly so as to allow the other children to sleep. 

Books and puzzles will be allowed as long as they are used quietly.   Your child’s nap items will stay at school and sent home each Friday to be washed.   1^st and 2^nd grade students do not have a nap time.  During this time, I will be working with them on anything they may struggle with, or they will be allowed to work independedently.  During the week, we will do some activities that may be messy.  Please send play clothes for your child to change into so that their uniform does not get excessively dirty.  These clothes will be sent home on Friday to be washed, unless they are extremely dirty  and require immediate washing.   For very young students, it may be neccesary to send clean pants and undergarments in the event of an accident.  These may be kept at school and replaced as needed.    Each student may keep a bottle of water in the classroom at all times. 

Soda and juice will not be allowed in the classroom.  These are fine to send for lunch, however.
